it's been a minute since i've given y'all an update (or, at this point, really just recorded one for my future self.) and i'm in a writing mood, so i'm about to tell y'all about the past 4.5 months, but i'm gonna break it into sections because i know i don't have the spoons to write the whole thing and also i can't write about the most recent conflict because i'm getting that resolved this week so uh. quarantine i started out making light of it. "hey, i can't go anywhere and am just supposed to sit home and crochet and play video games and talk to my friends from afar! this is just like living with my parents but without my parents!" i think that lasted about a week and a half before reality really started setting in for me. it wasn't going to be a couple of weeks or even months before i saw my friends again. i couldn't buy yarn from my favorite thrift store or talk to the cashier that always makes my day. hell, i couldn't even pet a fucking cat. the only reprieve from my loneliness

i hate this coronavirus thing. i'm not a scientist or anything but it *seems* like something could have been done a lot sooner to stop this from spreading, and it's just now being declared a pandemic and shutting everything down. which i mean it IS a pandemic. i won't argue that. but seeing my entire city shut down kinda sucks (we have one confirmed case right now, they actually worked a block and a half away fr

1. What did you do in 2019 that you'd never done before?
uh. lots of stuff. 3 jobs (well 2 irl and a 3rd one online) at one time, sex, smoking, drinking consistently, going to parties and enjoying them. kinda coming out of my shell (though that started at the end of 2018 to be fair)
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
didn't make one for 2019 and won't be making one for 2020. but goals in general, fucking set boundaries with people (and not in the c*s way) and act on red flags before it's too late

and if i'm being completely honest i don't even know who they all are. they were definitely mine. blue and pink hair, liberty spikes, piercings, and no names or stories. wack
i also found some characters that i based off my friends in middle school for stories i wrote in 7th grade and like i honestly can't even tell you who some of those people were either. not my main group of friends, but like people from summer camp or daycare because i was really uncreative when i was 11-12 and couldn't think of characters myself. and i don't remember all the characters' names, all the friends' names or what all the friends looked like
